A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator on behalf of our client based in West Thurrock.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and input customer orders onto in-house system
- Complete quotes for customers
- Liaise with shipping companies and clients on a regular basis
- Arrange international freight through to destination
- Track shipments
- Process NES/ Customs entries
- Verify if UK stamp duty removal is required for order shipping
- Create and send booking instructions to shipping lines
- Labelling and scanning using hand held device - attaching order forms
Requirements:
- Freight Forwarding knowledge
- Experience within a similar role as a Logistics Administrator
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Customer focused
- Customs knowledge
- Flexible to assist within the warehouse
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8am - 5pm / 9am - 6pm
- Must be flexible
