JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer/Setter
Location: South Woodham Ferrers
Salary Range: £18 - £22 per hour (plus overtime and monthly performance bonus)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm

Responsibilities:
Employ various measuring tools (Verniers, Micrometers, Height gauge, Shadowgraph, etc.) to ensure compliance with customer standards.
Efficiently program and set lathes from drawings or CAD files, meeting stringent customer requirements.
Evaluate and enhance the machining efficiency of older production parts.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping.
Ensure completion of all assigned work aligns with the production plan.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years programming experience.
Proficient in multi-axis live tooling.
Experience in setting a variety of lathes.
Capable of first-off, self-inspection, and final inspection.
Proficient in machining diverse materials.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of Fanuc programming, including live tooling.
Siemens 840D experience (training provided).
Proficient in CAM programming.
Familiarity with twin spindle machining.
Background in Aerospace manufacturing.
Apprentice trained.
HOURS
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
