JOB DESCRIPTION
Use of the EPlan (training will be given on EPlan) and AutoCAD. Create, new and update and modify existing designs
Functional Safety System Design & Validation
Project Management
Supervision /Direction of a team of Design Engineers to fulfil the design of electrical projects
Periodical review and training of engineering team
Supporting Sales department in formulating proposals and quotations
Attending Design review meetings for new projects.
Obtaining quotes and communicating with suppliers on technical issues
Liaising with various departments within the company
Answering queries during manufacture, build and installation
Preparing and maintaining documentation and records to a `Quality Operating System’
Preparing and maintaining PowerPoint documents for customer approval presentations
Evaluating and generating Risk Assessments for customer approval
Generating Systema / Siemens SET tool safety documents for customer approval,
Preparing and maintaining Excel documents for internal recording of items such as Drawing updates, issue decks, supplier specifications etc.
Preparing Visio diagrams for sales proposals and customer presentations
REQUIREMENTS
HNC or BEng in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience
Good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team or under their own initiative
Microsoft Office suite typically Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio.
HOURS
37.5 hour/week + 25-day hols + pension
