JOB DESCRIPTION
Design, fabricate, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Set up and operate a variety of manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM equipment.
Perform precision machining operations to achieve tight tolerances and ensure high-quality workmanship.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling designs and manufacturing processes.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify the accuracy and functionality of tools and components.
Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool Maker or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and tooling principles.
Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
HOURS
Monday to Thursday : 7am-5.15pm / Tuesday to Friday: 7am-5.15pm
