Job Description
An opportunity has become available for a highly skilled Centreless Grinder to join a precision engineering environment, ideally with aerospace experience. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining a range of grinding and second-operation machinery. The role requires a commitment to producing high-quality components, improving efficiency, and supporting a zero-defect culture.
Requirements
Strong technical background in engineering, ideally with exposure to aerospace manufacturing standards.
Proven ability to set and run manual centreless grinders.
Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Skilled in using measurement tools, especially micrometers, with a solid understanding of precision and tolerances.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and commitment to quality.
A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
Ability to support company goals through consistent performance and proactive input.
