Job Description
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new business by producing detailed cost estimates and supporting the development of winning customer proposals. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Strategic Sourcing and Programme teams, you'll ensure estimates are technically robust, commercially competitive and aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
Requirements
An Engineering qualification (HNC or above preferred).
Previous experience in estimating, costing or business development within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Extensive knowledge of aerospace manufacturing, particularly aerostructures, metallic components and assembly processes.
Strong understanding of raw materials, machining processes, productivity and manufacturing resources.
Experience producing detailed cost models and commercial estimates.
Excellent numerical, analytical and financial skills with exceptional attention to detail.
An understanding of programme management and production planning principles.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with a positive, solution-focused mindset.
Flexibility to travel between manufacturing sites and customer locations when required.
