Job Description
I'm currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business operating within the transport and industrial sectors.
This is a hands-on engineering role supporting overhaul, maintenance, investigation, and continuous improvement activities across a range of complex mechanical products and systems.
Requirements
HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
At least 6 years' engineering experience within manufacturing, maintenance, overhaul, industrial, transport, power generation, oil & gas, marine, rail, or similar sectors.
Strong hands-on engineering and problem-solving capability.
Experience writing technical procedures, reports, and engineering documentation.
Knowledge of quality systems and engineering standards.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive, adaptable, and customer-focused approach.
