JOB DESCRIPTION
An established and highly regarded NYC-based building enclosure consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead some of the most visible façade and restoration projects in the city. The firm works at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and sustainability - specializing in the assessment, design, and repair of existing building envelope systems, from landmark restorations to modern high-performance façades.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead façade restoration and envelope consulting projects from kickoff to completion
Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and client communications
Guide internal teams and foster collaboration between project stakeholders
Oversee documentation, fieldwork, and compliance with Local Law 11/FISP
Communicate effectively across all levels—clients, consultants, contractors, and team members
Promote quality control, risk management, and strategic problem-solving throughout each phase
Act as a knowledge resource and mentor to junior staff
REQUIREMENTS
5–8+ years of experience in façade restoration, envelope consulting, or related architectural/engineering work
Proven ability to manage complex projects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
Strong familiarity with NYC code, FISP/Local Law 11 processes, and exterior building systems
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction—or equivalent experience
Skilled in field sketching, technical writing, and report production
Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or related software is a plus
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Valid driver’s license; scaffold and OSHA certifications are a bonus
1+ years of work experience with Exterior Restoration
