Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer supplying high-quality components to the aerospace industry.
Working within an AS9100-accredited manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for producing precision sheet metal components to exacting engineering and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator who enjoys working with precision materials and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
Experience working within the aerospace, automotive or another high-precision manufacturing sector.
The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
Hands-on experience operating brake presses and other sheet metal fabrication machinery.
Experience working with aluminium, with additional knowledge of mild steel and stainless steel.
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, forming methods and sheet metal processes.
Experience carrying out inspections using measuring equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
A good understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
