Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Vehicle Mechanic to join their engineering and maintenance team within a busy industrial environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of operational equipment, including terminal tractors, trailers, and associated machinery, ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience within a mechanical fitting, plant maintenance, or heavy vehicle maintenance role
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair capabilities
Experience working on trailers, tractors, heavy vehicles, or industrial equipment
Welding and fabrication experience advantageous
Familiarity with stock control or parts inventory systems
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Good communication and organisational skills
Hours
Monday to Friday
7:00am – 4:00pm
