We are currently recruiting for a proactive and committed Evening Shift Team Leader to join a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency during the late shift and supporting the wider team to meet production targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, coach, and support a team of operatives to meet daily production goals.

• Act as the primary contact for resolving team-related issues and escalating concerns when necessary.

• Maintain a calm and professional approach, especially under pressure, and ensure accountability across the team.

• Review shift schedules and assess staffing and equipment needs.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and lead by example.

• Ensure effective handovers between shifts, sharing relevant updates and performance metrics.

• Provide support across production and warehouse functions as needed.

• Assist in workload allocation and resource planning in collaboration with shift management.

• Adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility with working hours.

• Organise and direct tasks to meet production timelines and priorities.

• Manage labour levels and overtime requirements to meet operational demands.

• Support recruitment activities in partnership with shift leadership.
