JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Controller to join our busy team in Felixstowe. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operations, perfect for someone with strong mechanical knowledge and excellent organisational skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Issue authority to suppliers for maintenance and repair work.
Advise customers on service work, MOTs, and breakdown situations.
Communicate confidently with drivers, technicians, depots, and customers.
Assist in the daily running of the maintenance department and take responsibility in the supervisor’s absence.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fleet or vehicle maintenance.
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
A confident, proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
