A1 Personnel are partnering with a leading construction solutions provider delivering projects across Demolition, Enabling, Civil Engineering & Groundworks, Temporary Works. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join their team on a permanent basis.

About the Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the finances and contractual relationships of construction projects. You will ensure projects remain profitable, budgets are accurately controlled, and all contractual obligations are met. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, legislation, and excellent negotiation skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Control and manage project costs, ensuring profitability

• Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts

• Analyse project financial performance and report trends

• Manage subcontractor works commercially

• Liaise with clients, design teams, and subcontractors on a daily basis

• Maintain contract documentation and advise on post-contract matters

• Negotiate and agree sub-contractor contracts and valuations

• Price and forecast materials required, tracking design/construction changes

• Support site teams with take-offs and project awareness
