JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tyre/Maintenance Controller to join our busy Norwich team. This is a key role where you’ll manage supplier authority for both tyre and maintenance work, liaise with technicians, drivers, and other depots, and ensure our fleet runs safely and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Issue work orders to suppliers for tyre repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely and accurate service.
Advise customers on breakdowns, service requirements, and MOTs.
Communicate confidently with technicians, drivers, and other depots.
Take ownership of daily departmental operations in the absence of your supervisor.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong tyre knowledge and mechanical awareness.
Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
A confident, proactive personality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
